Discover Two Harbors
Take the Cyclone Power Boat between Avalon and Two Harbors on Catalina
It’s now possible to explore both ends of Catalina in the same day aboard the Cyclone power boat. You’ll depart from the Green Pier in Avalon for an exciting cruise along the stunning Catalina coast to the rustic village of Two Harbors, where you can do as much as you like, or as little as you want. It takes less than 40 minutes! Discover Two Harbors is a seasonal tour, and only available during summer and early fall.
What to Bring
- A light jacket: You’re going to love the views aboard the open-air Cyclone, but it can get a bit breezy.
- Comfortable shoes: You (and your feet) will be happier as you stroll around rustic Two Harbors.
- Hiking accessories: If you plan to explore the trails, sturdy shoes and water are highly recommended.
- Your swimsuit: Two Harbors is a great place to work on your tan, and the water is pretty spectacular.
- Sunglasses & hat: Whether you’re on the water, on the beach, or on the trails, sun protection is a good thing.
Things to Do
Are you in the mood for adventure? Or perhaps a relaxing afternoon on the beach? Either way, Two Harbors is the place to be. Kick back under swaying palms in a private palapa at Harbor Sands. Enjoy lunch and a cool cocktail on the ocean-view patio at Harbor Reef Restaurant. Or visit the Dive & Recreation Center, where you’ll find mountain bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear and more to explore miles of trails and scenic shoreline that define Catalina’s west end.
Extend Your Stay
You can return to Avalon the same day aboard the Cyclone, or you can extend your stay in Two Harbors with overnight accommodations at Banning House Lodge & Villas. Two Harbors is also famous for its world-class camping sites. You can also return to the mainland directly from Two Harbors aboard Catalina Express.
