Two Harbors Campground
Three Unique Camping Experiences
Experience the best of Catalina Island Camping! Located just outside the village on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Two Harbors Campground offers traditional tent camping, and unique tent cabins. All camping options give you access to showers, chemical toilets, fresh water, picnic tables, BBQs and fire pits.
Purchase your favorite food and drinks from the Two Harbors General Store and have your items delivered directly to your campsite Two Harbors Campground. Pick up a single-use cooler from the Two Harbors General Store and stock up on groceries like fresh fruit and vegetables, hot dogs, sandwich items, beer, wine, and more! We'll deliver your cooler with a bag of ice to the Two Harbors Campground for $35 and to Little Harbor for $40.

Hiking the Trans-Catalina Trail?
Traditional Tent Camping
Two Harbors Campground offers 47 individual tent sites that can accommodate from two to 12 guests. You can bring your own tents and sleeping pads, or you can rent them from Visitor Services.
For large groups, check out Bahia Azul and Brisa Del Mar, which offer additional amenities and can accommodate up to 30.

Tent Cabins
Two Harbors' 13 tent cabins offer ocean views and come equipped with six army-style cots, a 2-burner stove with propane, and a rechargeable lantern (fully charged). Each site also features a shade structure, picnic table and fire pit with cooking grate.

*Prices shown are per night. Tent Cabin rates are in addition to the per person camping fee. A 12% LA County occupancy tax also applies toTent Cabins. Weekend stays require a 2-night minimum (May 1 - October 31). If hiking the Trans-Catalina Trail, the two-night minimum requirement is waived on all tent sites. Holiday stays require a 3 night minimum. Holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.

* All prices exclude tax. There is a $100 deposit for tents. Your deposit will be refunded once equipment is returned in its pre-rental condition to Visitor Services. Firewood, fire starters, charcoal and propane can be added to your reservation by calling Two Harbors Visitor Services at 310.510.4205. All other supplies and equipment are available at Visitor Services on a walk-up only basis. Upon check-in at Two Harbors Campground, you will be asked what supplies and equipment rentals you would like delivered to your site. Food, gear and other supplies can be purchased at the Two Harbors General Store.
Policies
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance of reservations.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 2:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am.
Pet Policy: No pets are allowed at Two Harbors campground. (Dogs are allowed at Two Harbors town and public beaches, but not the campground.)
Deposit: Catalina Cabins require a $100 refundable deposit.
Weather Conditions: If rain or wind is in the weather forecast, please be aware the Catalina Express boats may be canceled. Hiking trails and road closures on the island may occur due to rain or inclement weather conditions. Please contact the Two Harbors Visitor Service Center at 310.510.4205 for road closure updates and current status of hiking trails.
Gear Haul
Gear haul service between the pier and Two Harbors Campground is available after every Catalina Express arrival and before every departure for $7 per bag per round trip. Group gear hauls are also charged per bag. For more information, please call or email Two Harbors Visitor Services, 310.510.4205 or visitorservices@scico.com. (sorry, no bungee cords allowed on gear for gear haul transport!)
Be Safe
All Los Angeles County and Catalina Island Conservancy rules are strictly enforced. We strongly suggest that campers come equipped with a VHF radio in case of medical emergencies.
Getting Here
From the mainland, you can catch the Catalina Express ferry from San Pedro directly to Two Harbors. Face coverings are required while aboard the boat.
You can also take the Cyclone powerboat, which runs between Avalon and Two Harbors from June through October as part of the seasonal Discover Two Harbors tour. Note: There is no transportation between Two Harbors and Avalon when the Cyclone is not in season. Taxi service is available from Avalon. Call Catalina Taxi & Tours for more information and rates at 310.510.0025. Reservations are required.
