Little Harbor Campground
Rated "One of the Best Campgrounds in the West" by Sunset Magazine, Little Harbor Campground is perfect for campers who enjoy playing on the beach or in the water. Located about seven miles east of Two Harbors and 19 miles from Avalon, Little Harbor is a sandy, beachfront campground with lots of opportunities for recreation. This beautiful campground is the only one on Catalina's remote “backside." It is also one of the campgrounds along the popular 38.5 mile Trans-Catalina Trail hike.
Purchase your favorite food and drinks from the Two Harbors General Store and have your items delivered directly to your campsite at Little Harbor. Pick up a single-use cooler from the Two Harbors General Store and stock up on groceries like fresh fruit and vegetables, hot dogs, sandwich items, beer, wine, and more! We'll deliver your cooler with a bag of ice to Little Harbor for $35.

Directions to Campground
From Two Harbors, Little Harbor is accessible by a moderately strenuous 5.14 mile hike on the Trans-Catalina Trail, or a 7 mile bike ride along an unpaved road.
From Avalon, transportation is available via the Catalina Island Conservancy Wildlands Express Shuttle or Catalina Taxi & Tours taxi service (310.510.0025). Reservations are required and are limited. Hiking from Avalon is also an option. Little Harbor is 19 miles from Avalon.
Gear hauls are available for $16.00 one way or $31.00 round trip per item or bag. Large flat bed truck for $400 one way. Scheduled gear hauls leave Little Harbor for Two Harbors at 9:00 am daily, and leave Two Harbors for Little Harbor at 1:00 pm daily. Gear haul tags are available for purchase at Two Harbors Visitor Services upon arrival. (sorry, no bungee cords allowed on gear for gear haul transport!)

All other supplies & equipment are available on a walk-up only basis. ** Tents and 2-burner stoves will require a $50.00 deposit that will be refunded once the tent or stove is returned to Two Harbors Visitor Services in the same condition it was when it was checked out.

Policies
There is a $9.25 service fee rather you book online or over the telephone. If reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of the reservation start date the camping fees will be refunded. The $9.25 booking fee is non-refundable.
Tips
Campers can check in at the Two Harbors Visitor Service Center in Two Harbors. If coming from Avalon, campers do not need to check in.
