Catalina Island Two Harbors Campgrounds

Choose your own Two Harbors camping adventure from over 7 different campgrounds. No matter what you pick, you’ll have access to the unspoiled riches of nature on Catalina Island.

Two Harbors Campground – Just a quarter mile from Two Harbors village and perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, our main campground offers both traditional tent sites, as well as unique tent cabins for those who want to travel light. No matter which camping option you pick, you’ll be able to camp in comfort. All campers here can enjoy access to facilities like showers, picnic tables, BBQs and fire pits, for an elevated camping experience.

Little Harbor – Sunset Magazine named this site “One of the Best Campgrounds in the West”, and when you’re staying here it’s easy to see why. Perfect for beach lovers and watersports enthusiasts, this sandy, beachfront campground is located along the Trans-Catalina Trail, and while most people hike or bike in, you can also get there from Avalon via the Catalina Island Conservancy Wildlands Express Shuttle. Gear hauls and deliveries of your favorite food and drinks from the Two Harbors General Store make a great camping experience even more accessible.

Brisa del Mar – One of the most premium camping experiences on Catalina Island, this deluxe family camping site is offered for exclusive booking and can fit up to 30 adults. Located mere steps from the water’s edge, you’ll have your own beachfront space and easy access to snorkel, kayak or fish the day away. Charcoal grills and an A-frame structure with picnic tables will also be available for your exclusive use.

Bahia Azul – Next to the main Two Harbors Campground, this family camping site can fit 30 adults, and delivers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, as well as access to a semi-private beach. The secluded feeling of this exclusive campsite will have you feeling like you’re the only ones on this gorgeous island. The site offers a large fire pit with campfire seating, and a large gas BBQ with propane included.

Primitive Camping – For a true return to nature, Catalina Island offers a number of primitive campgrounds where you may even encounter free-roaming bison. More remote than our other campsites, these spaces give you the chance to truly break free from the cares of the world. Nestled amidst eucalyptus trees near the summit of Mt. Orizaba, Catalina Island’s tallest peak, Black Jack campground will have you feeling on top of the world with its sweeping canyon and ocean vistas. Parson’s Landing on the other hand is a remote beachfront campground that boasts miles of pristine shoreline.

Boat-in Camping – Only accessible by kayak or boat, 17 primitive camping sites dot the shore between Avalon and Two Harbors. These secluded coastal camping experiences are perfect to channel your inner “Castaway”. Campers will need to bring their own supplies, including a camp stove or self-contained BBQ, as fires are not permitted on these beaches.

Deck Rooms at Two Harbors Village – Camp in comfort over the winter months on Catalina Island, at the simple yet cozy camping cabins offered here in the heart of Two Harbors village. Get to know your fellow campers at the outdoor community kitchen, and stay warm at night with in-room heaters. Deck Rooms are available from November 1 to March 31.
