Head out on land and sea adventures with outdoor enthusiasts who call Two Harbors home, and explore scenic trails, beautiful coastline and crystal clear water that make Catalina so unique. 
 

Land & Sea Adventures

Every morning and afternoon, knowledgeable guides lead groups of hikers, kayakers, paddlers and snorkelers on land & sea adventures into one of Southern California’s most diverse ecosystems. Although some activities are more strenuous than others, we offer something for everyone. Adventures are limited to groups of eight for a more intimate experience.

Hike to Ballast Point
Spectacular views of Cat Harbor on the island’s backside make Ballast Point a favorite hiking destination of locals and visitors alike, and well worth the moderate 1.5-mile climb.
DEPARTS FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY AT 1 PM
Duration: 1.5 HOURS
$30 per person

Kayak to Blue Carverns
Paddle east between Fisherman’s Cove and Bird Rock to Blue Cavern Point, where, if the tide is right, you’ll be able to venture through enchanting caves carved by the sea into the rugged cliffs.

To fourth generation islander Natalie Foote, Catalina is home. It’s also her playground, her classroom, her office, her sanctuary and, most of all, her inspiration. Whether she’s on a morning run to Emerald Bay or an afternoon paddle to Parsons Landing, Natalie is always on the move, exploring the many awesome wonders of a beautiful island paradise that captivated her soul and captured her heart so many years ago.
 
NOTE: Land and sea adventure are subject to change based on weather, season and other factors. Due to the island’s topography, most hikes will involve some moderate uphill climbs.
