Paddle To Your Paradise

Kayaking is a fun and easy way to experience the natural beauty of Santa Catalina Island.  Enjoy the otherwise inaccessible coastline by kayaking from Avalon along magnificent cliffs and into secluded coves. Make a reservation and you can kayak to your secluded boat-in campground. Several shops rent kayaks and other equipment for boaters of all abilities.

Descanso Beach Ocean Sports

Descanso Beach Ocean Sports has a great selection of sit-on-top and touring kayaks. Guided kayak excursions are available every day, and all expeditions are led by skilled kayak guides trained in first aid and CPR. Joe's Rent-A-Boat

Joe’s Rent-A-Boat allows you to be your own tour guide. Boats are available for sightseeing, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Motor boats, kayaks, pedal boats and paddle boards are also available. Open daily April through October. For more information, please call 310-510-0455.

Wet Spot Rentals

Located at the Avalon Boat Landing, Wet Spot Rentals offers Kayaks, Snorkel Gear and Stand Up Paddle Boards by the hour or day. Open daily April through September. For more information, please call 310-510-2229

Two Harbors Dive & Recreation Center

When you're in Two Harbors, stop by the Two Harbors Dive & Recreation Center. They rent  a variety of recreation equipment, including snorkel gear, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, beach umbrellas, tennis rackets, mountain bikes, wetsuits and SCUBA gear.
