Kitchen Manager, Harbor Reef Restaurant, Two Harbors
Santa Catalina Island Resort Services is seeking an energetic, motivated individual with a passion for excellent food and hospitality to join our management team. The qualified individual will be responsible to manage the daily kitchen operations of the restaurant, including scheduling, supervising staff, ordering and receiving food orders. The individual will also be responsible for the monitoring of food preparation and preparation of food orders as needed. Ensure quality food products are being served according to established company and industry guidelines.
The qualified individual will support cost control efforts as per company policy and participate in the weekly and monthly inventory counts and meetings and be computer proficient.
Two year college or university program certificate or two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. While performing the duties of this position, the individual may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, kneel and occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful. The position salary is $50,000 to $55,000 per year. Housing available.
