Santa Catalina Island Resort Services is seeking a qualified individual to assume the responsibilities of an Executive Housekeeper. This is a Full Time, Year Round position. The qualified individual will be responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling and supervising of a team of housekeepers and housemen. The position requires excellent organizational skills and must be service minded both in dealing with guests as well as fellow employees. Must maintain an above average standard of cleanliness and perform regular room inspections to ensure the company standards are upheld.
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a 4 or 5 stars hotel; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering supplies for the various properties, maintaining inventory and accountability of same. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals as well as knowledge of a variety of different cleaning agents and understand their use. Ability to speak effectively in Spanish and English is a must. Limited housing is available.
