Reel In The Very Best

Santa Catalina Island’s sparkling coastline offers some of the best ocean fishing anywhere. Seabass, yellowtail and halibut are just a few of the varieties of sport fish waiting for your bait. Fish from shore or rent a motorized skiff.
 

Kayaking

The crystal clear waters around Two Harbors ebb and flow over kelp beds into secluded coves and caves, each teeming with marine life. Many of these areas are reachable only by watercraft. An ocean kayak gives you the means of slipping quietly into these areas without disturbing the pelicans and seals that calmly watch you glide by from their rocky perches.

Two Harbors at the Isthmus of Santa Catalina Island is ideally located to offer easy access to some of the world’s best snorkeling. Voted “World’s Healthiest Marine Environment” by Scuba Diving Magazine, the water is clear and clean, with visibility ranging from 40-100 feet. Water temperatures vary from 55-72 degrees. Lessons, rentals and guided dive trips are available.
 

SCUBA

Two Harbors Dive & Recreation Center

Two Harbors was made for having fun. Whether you like snorkeling in the Pacific Ocean or pitching horse shoes after a barbeque, Two Harbors has the facilities. In case you don’t want to pack all your toys with you on the trip over, the Two Harbors Dive & Recreation Center rents all sorts of recreation equipment, including snorkel gear, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, beach umbrellas, tennis rackets, mountain bikes, wetsuits and SCUBA gear.

Safari Bus

The Safari Bus links the City of Avalon with the village of Two Harbors, including stops at Little Harbor, Airport in the Sky, and the trailhead for Black Jack Junction. The Safari Bus is a quick and easy way to navigate Santa Catalina Island and runs daily throughout the summer months.
